Overview

The Park Avenue project involved the first full renovation since the famed Waldorf Astoria Hotel opened its doors in 1931. CAS was responsible for 375 new hotel rooms on floors 5–11. The work included interior metal stud framing, drywall, perimeter wall insulation, multiple GFRG profiles, temporary protection, and drywall ceilings/soffits.

The hotel's transformation was led by architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), with hotel interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon (PYR) and residential interiors and amenities designed by Jean-Louis Deniot.
