CAS is considered a Large Business Enterprise by SBA standards and recognizes the value of small and minority business development in our industry. Since 2008, CAS developed and implemented a trade specific TEAMING program that has been widely accepted by both public and private industry. The TEAMING program is designed to empower the small business through a curriculum customized to their self-performed work and is totally transparent and measurable, exceeding “participation” required by the projects and our customers. In addition, this program benefits all parties concerned as it engages small and minority business in a “maximum, practical way” while adding no “new risk” to the project.
The TEAMING program has been used on over $130,000,000 of CAS work on projects with the United States Army Corp of Engineers, NAFVAC, NY/NJ Port Authority, Dormitory Authority of NY, and the Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition
