Overview

The project located on Park Avenue includes the first full renovation since the famed Waldorf Astoria Hotel opened its doors in 1931. CAS' portion of the landmark building contains 375 new hotel rooms located on floors 5-11. CAS' scope includes interior metal stud framing, drywall, perimeter wall insulation, multiple GFRG profiles, temporary protection, and drywall ceilings/soffits.

The transformation of the hotel was led by  architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), with hotel interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon (PYR) and residential interiors and amenities designed by Jean-Louis Deniot.
