Overview

Terminal 1 at JFK International Airport "aspires to be among the top airport terminals in the world" according to Governor Kathy Hochul's office. CAS' scope in the 2.4 million SF 23-gate state-of-the-art facility includes baggage claim, ticketing, security and customs areas. Estimated completion is 2026.

A design-build team of AECOM Tishman and Gensler has been tapped for the massive revamp which is expected to generate over 10,000 jobs.

CAS is also building a new 1.2 million SF Terminal 6 that includes the former Terminals 6 & 7. Estimated completion is in 2028
