CAS has recently completed work on an 11 story Hotel adjoining the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, PA. The hotel features 300 rooms, 22 suites and 8000 sq ft of meeting space, as well as a pool and a fitness center. CAS installed drywall, framing, insulation, firestop, doors and frames.
CAS has finished performing work on The Fisher Translational Research Center (FTRC). Under Construction Manager L.F. Driscoll Co. ,and for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, CAS performed Core and Shell work for this 12-story, 500,000SF research / clinical medicine building, as well as a fit-out of the three lower floors including the main lobby and auditorium. The Fisher Translational Research Center houses research initiatives that integrate a range of biomedical disciplines.
CAS is currently working on the new 252,000-square-foot Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. The five-story building with an additional floor below ground is being built adjacent to the Medical Center’s main entrance. The facility will include pediatric surgical suites, private pediatric and adolescent patient clinics for children with cancer, and a new pediatric radiology unit. Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital is also a project where CAS has been totally involved in the BIM coordination process. CAS is currently performing carpentry, exterior framing, drywall and acoustical ceiling installations for General Contractor L.F. Driscoll.
The New Regional Medical Center is soon to be a state of the art Medical Center in the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. Designed to service the Southeastern Pennsylvania region, the NRMC will offer leading-edge clinical services and programs, as well as 146 patient beds, 96 surgical beds, a 22 bed Intensive Care unit and a 20 bed obstetrical unit. CAS has been tasked to install Drywall, Denshield, Acoustical and Specialty ceilings for General Contractor Gilbane Building Company. The hospital is scheduled to be completed in 2012.
The Kimpton Hotel Monaco is an 11-story Boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. The 270 room hotel is scheduled to be completed in 2012, and will feature a rooftop bar and lounge, as well as meeting rooms, ball rooms and a restaurant. CAS is installing drywall, acoustical ceilings, doors and frames, and running trim for General Contractor Intech Construction, Inc.
